Finding sea glass on the beach always makes me feel like someone is watching over me from above. It’s such a treasure and makes me feel so lucky and grateful to be able to live and work so close to the ocean. I am often able to find a piece or two in my beach travels. A majority of my Instagram posts on account are beach related. It’s pretty year round, but particularly awesome in the summer.
Long Branch beaches are nearby Sheraton Eatontown Hotel. Some of my favorite things to do near the beach:
1. Walk or run the two-mile stretch of oceanfront from West End on down through Pier Village and onto the Promenade to North End.
2. Run barefoot on the sand at sunrise.
3. Shop, eat and drink in Pier Village. McLoone’s Pier House, Rooney’s Oceanfront Grill and The Wine Loft are must do’s.
4. Bringing a beach chair, frisbee, pop culture magazine and of course sunscreen and just chilling out.
5. Thursday evenings there’s free outdoor live music at 7:00pm on Festival Plaza in Pier Village.
6. Having a drink or meal while overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
7. West End Yoga and Long Branch Recreation offer beach yoga every morning from 7:00am to 8:00am and Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 6:30pm to 7:30pm weather permitting.

It’s all beautiful — but I have to hang my hat on the southern half because that’s the one I know the best — and where IMO the best scenic views are on the entire coast. But that’s just nitpicking.You have shared very interesting things about these long branch beaches and I like the yoga idea at the beach side. Thanks
