Sheraton Eatontown Festival of Trees Support and Spirit Series goes out to Lunch Break. This years event will feature over 30 local charitable and non-profit organizations. The goal in writing these posts is further exposure for participating groups with the hopes of drawing in folks who may never have heard of them before. Our Festival of Trees team wants to raise money for charity and make this our best year out of the 22 we have been hosting Festival of Trees.
Lunch Break is a Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry located in Red Bank, NJ. With the downturn in the economy, our mission to feed the hungry has been tested like never before. 392 families a month from the greater Red Bank area are now dependent on Lunch Break for emergency food provisions from our Food Pantry. Our dining room is filled to capacity Monday through Friday with hungry diners having what will most likely be their only hot meal of the day. We also provide free, gently used clothing to our community members in need every Saturday morning. We are experiencing a wave of need that we have never seen in our 28 year history.
