180 Turning Lives Around Inc. has been providing services to Monmouth County families affected by domestic violence and sexual assault for over 34 years.
Amanda’s Easel Creative Arts Therapies for Children, a program of 180; in partnership with the Friends of Amanda Foundation; is a nationally recognized program designed to create a support system to help both children and parents cope with the life changes precipitated by violence and abuse. The program provides art, music and play therapies for children and their non-offending parents.
Creative arts therapy helps children and adults express the inexpressible through images, music, stories and metaphor. Our program is the only one of its kind that addresses the effects of domestic violence, child abuse prevention and parent skill building through creative arts therapy intervention in Monmouth County.
180 is proud to present the ‘Pearl Project’ a traveling art therapy exhibit created by clients in our Amanda’s Easel Creative Arts Therapy studios… more info to come!
